Elton John is believed to have splashed the cash ahead of his Glasgow gig on Saturday night as a treat for his crew.
Staff shared a copy of the receipt for his order which said it was placed by Elton John, and also shared pictures of food bagged up and ready to go to the Ovo Hydro where the superstar was performing.The order included 25 BBQ pork buns, 25 BBQ brisket buns, one vegan 'granny' burger, four veggie smoke stacks, six chicken burgers and 10 portions of garlic fries.
The Tiny Dancer singer is on Scottish turf to perform his shows in Aberdeen and Glasgow as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, having already wowed fans at the P&J Live. Saturday night was his first Glasgow show.
