A museum showcasing the career and sporting achivements of rally star Colin McRae is being set up at his former motorsport headquarters in Lanark by his wife and daughter.

Posting online, Hollie said “I’m taking on the challenge of creating a museum space to commemorate the incredible motorsport moments and achievements of my dad, Colin McRae. Hollie added: “These contain all of dad’s trophies, achievements, newspaper clippings and awards; these two eras of my dad’s career were the bulk of what he did.
