A mob of England-flag-waving protestors forced entry into the Holiday Inn Express in Rotherham, where it's believed asylum seekers are housed, in another day of violent scenes.
Far-right thugs have stormed a hotel which homes asylum seekers and set it alight as protests continue in England.
Thugs have also pelted police officers with bricks outside the building. The video shows protestors - including some waving England flags and Union Jacks and others donning balaclavas - shouting slogans and rocking a police van and its camera. Unrest has also unfolded outside the Potters International Hotel in Aldershot, Hampshire, this afternoon. One placard there says: “No more squatters staying at Potters” while another read: “House Brits on waiting lists.” A group of young men waved another banner which reads: “We’re not far right we’re just right.”
One member of the crowd also appeared to use a racist slur in the horrifying clip filmed amid further riots. The footage, which has been shared by Stand Up To Racism, has not yet been verified and the Mirror has approached Humberside Police to confirm the incident. In the clip, Humberside riot police are seen advancing on the scene as moments before, a silver BMW was jumped on and the doors flung open.
