The series follows NWAS at a time when the NHS is facing the twin crises of unprecedented strikes and growing waiting lists
BBC viewers have been given their first look at the broadcaster's new Ambulance series which has been filmed in Lancashire and Cumbria.
The hit show features a voiceover from Christopher Eccleston and was first aired in 2016. The new series is on its way to BBC One this week and excitement is growing among fans after producers dropped a teaser trailer.In a post on Facebook, NWAS said: "We’ve again teamed up with documentary makers Dragonfly Film and Television Productions to give a behind-the-scenes look at the crucial work of our 999 service.
One fan replied: "Can’t wait to watch our NWAS mates on the screen" while another said: "Love watching, have watched since the first episode. Everyone does an amazing job."
