Emergency services raced to a property in the Dudhope Gardens area after receiving reports that a teenager had fallen ill at roughly 5am on Saturday, March 4.
This is the first picture of a 16-year-old girl from Dundee who tragically died over the weekend after falling unwell.
Posting to Facebook, a family member said she had been left "shattered" by Lennix's death and described her as "the most caring soul". "Everyone that knows Lennix will agree she is the most caring soul with the biggest smile that could light up any room she walked in. The most affectionate girl with a fiery personality, the girl who always made us laugh no matter how much we didn’t want to and a hug from her could fix anything in an instance."
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 5am on Saturday we were made aware of a 16-year-girl being unwell at a property in the Dudhope Gardens area of Dundee.
