A 34-year-old Pensacola man lost his life this morning when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
) - The FHP said the bicyclist was riding northbound approaching the intersection with Breezy Acres Road. He was struck by a compact two-door coupe driven by a 24-year-old man from Jay, Fla., officials said.
The highway patrol said the bicyclist was not wearing reflective clothing and did not have a red light on the back of the bicycle.
