How do you explain that Mark,” Dunstall said.“I was privileged to be asked to go to the IPL for an extended period of time and our fantastic boss at Fox Cricket Steve Crawley said I think it’s a good opportunity,” he said.Dunstall wasn’t ready to let his co-host off the hook just yet however, and asked whether Howard had told his Triple M boss he was heading off for a few weeks midway through the footy season.

“I asked him. How can you turn this into negative? I’ve been asked to commentate on the biggest cricket tournament in the world,” Howard replied. The exchange was all in very good humour with the conversation moving on soon after. Howard is one of the country’s leading sports broadcasters and also hosts several shows, including his podcast Howie Games, which is regularly among the most popular sports podcasts in Australia.
