Conditions will brighten up towards the end of the week, Met Office forecasters predict
Greater Manchester is set for a rainy and cloudy couple of days - before weather conditions brighten and warm up towards the end of the week.

Chief meteorologist Dan Suri said: "A frontal system arriving to the west and northwest of the UK will become slow moving on Tuesday, with 25-40mm of rain likely quite widely within the warning area, while in excess of 60mm could fall on exposed hills.
