Khylie Ramsay moved into the Wheatley Homes property in Glasgow with her four children 12 months ago after having to leave her previous home due to abusive neighbours.

A Glasgow mum forced to flee from her home now fears for the health of her children after being given a mouldy housing association property.

Khylie says that her youngest son, Mason, one, has also suffered from fungal eye infections alongside respiratory issues since moving into the property. The 36-year-old said: "It’s bad enough that we had to leave our previous home but I’m coming to the end of my tether with this current situation. "My little baby Mason is also constantly unwell with respiratory problems and constant colds and again the GP has said this is down to the mould and dampness. I want my kids to be safe in their home and right now I don't feel like they are.

She added: "My mental health has deteriorated in so many ways. I feel isolated, worn down and trapped in this never ending cycle of arguing my case and defending myself against the housing association. A letter from Riley’s medical team also raised concerns, stating: "There is good evidence to support the dangers of exposure to black mould in contributing to the asthma symptoms, therefore it is unwise to continually be exposed to untreated mould.

"The whole family have in effect been poisoned by these mould spores which the Wheatley Group did nothing about initially. Khylie has had to fight every step of the way to get anywhere with this issue.
