A police dispersal order has been put in place across a Greater Manchester town following increased reports of anti-social gatherings and youths on off-road bikes.
The order gives police extra powers to stop 'large groups gathering and engaging' in anti-social behaviour and for the safety of visitors and residents. An update shared by Greater Manchester Police read: "A section 34 dispersal order has been implemented across Farnworth Town Centre today . This has been authorised in response to increasing reports of anti-social gatherings in the area, including the use of off-road bikes.
