However, only 25% of individuals consider their diet when addressing mood issues. Experts emphasize the importance of recognizing how certain foods can trigger emotional fluctuations, encouraging the use of food diaries to identify personal triggers and promote both physical and emotional health.

Recent research shows your diet choices may be sabotaging your emotional well-being as foods you may think are healthy for your body could be damaging to your mental health . According to a study published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, more than 60% of our mood-regulating brain chemicals are directly affected by what we eat.
