’ Trains, buses and flights could see delays during the foggy conditions, which could mean slower journey times, according to the Met Office. Heavy fog cancelled dozens of flights and delayed others in late December last year. Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Manchester and Glasgow were just some of the airports affected by the lingering fog which began just after Christmas. Low visibility meant temporary air travel restrictions were put into place.
