Herno sniffer dog Barra - Scotland's only underwater sniffer dog - has been inducted into Animal Heroes Hall of Fame.
A hero sniffer dog who has helped to bring closure to bereaved families in Glasgow has been inducted into an animal hall of fame .
Barra was originally born in Wales before being taken to his forever home in Dumbarton, where his potential as a Victim Recovery dog was discovered, Glasgow Live reports. With just under a year of training, he qualified as Scotland's first Submerged Victim Recovery Dog, and K9 Search & Recovery Scotland was created.
