Video game studios will work together to find local gaming talent

A pledge has been launched to find the next generation of video game creators in the Liverpool City Region.

These studios have been bolstered by educational and charity institutions such as NextGen Skills and the LFC Foundation.

“GameChangers is our pledge to support the next generation of video game creators, to nurture their imagination and fresh ideas, and ensure that together, we can take one of our fastest-growing industries to the next level.” Ripstone, who own Rockwater Games, are based in the Baltic Triangle. Earlier this year, the developers released a new game based on Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit, with players able to inhabit the mind of orphan chess prodigy Elizabeth Harmon.
