The former foreign minister has swapped world leaders for style gurus as she popped up at Australian Fashion Week in support of local Indigenous designers.

The former foreign minister was joined by the likes of Jessica Mauboy, Jesinta Franklin and AFL great Adam Goodes at the presentation, which was produced by department store David Jones and spotlighted Indigenous design.

Bishop continued to rub shoulders with the fashion A-list on Thursday morning during a David Jones event at Sydney's iconic Icebergs restaurant in Bondi, where she sat next to Pip Edwards.
