The Leeds United shot stopper is looking forward to life at Elland Road
Leeds United shot stopper Karl Darlow says he has the experience to handle the pressure and expectancy to win at Elland Road. The former Newcastle United shot stopper swapped the black and white of the Toon for the Whites towards the end of pre-season and made his debut in the Carabao Cup against Shrewsbury.
"I've always kind of had it on the radar and had conversations with the agency that it's one I'd like to do. It's a massive club and like we said before, it's similar to how Newcastle are fan wise, how passionate and intense the fans are about their club.
"You when you're at a club that is passionate and has a big club mentality about it, it's one that has got massive history and one I'm looking forward to playing for, for the foreseeable future." "Being the age I am now and having the experiences I have had throughout in my football career, you learn to deal with that pressure. I think it's understanding what people expect and what they require you to do on the pitch when you pull on that shirt.
