Met Office have predicted a dry day for Leeds on Friday
Leeds will see a slightly less treacherous day on Friday as the yellow warning for ice and snow comes to an end.
Remaining very cold on December 15, but largely dry with sunny spells, once any mist and freezing fog patches slowly clear through the morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning across the whole of Yorkshire that will come into place on Sunday, December 18, it says a period of snow will lead to travel disruption before turning to rain later in the day.A spokesperson for The Met Office said: "Remaining very cold but largely dry with sunny spells, once any mist and freezing fog patches slowly clear through the morning. Winds generally light but increasing in the evening. Maximum temperature 2 °C.
From midday the sun will disappear and Leeds will turn cloudy until the mid afternoon where there will be sunny intervals until sunset at 3.45pm.Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Cloudy Saturday with outbreaks of rain, sleet and hill snow. Windy and becoming milder Sunday, with a period of snow turning to rain.
