Liverpool FC have reached a new landmark in the opening of the Anfield Road upper-tier as their latest plans have been outlined
Liverpool have revealed that there will be a phased opening of the new Anfield Road upper tier after a security certificate is granted as construction continues.
Rayner Rowen Construction took control of the work to finish the construction with the initial postponement keeping the new upper tier closed until the new year. Since the beginning of the season, the lower tier of the stand has been open to home and away fans in a reduced capacity in L4. "Ultimately, what that means for supporters is that until we have visibility of all the information needed, we’re going to have to maintain the status quo for the remainder of the calendar year, essentially meaning capacity at Anfield will remain the same as for the previous home games that we’ve seen this season.
