The 10-week hearing into the alleged breaches of Premier League rules is set to begin in September
Liverpool can expect to know the fate of Manchester City’s 115 alleged breaches of Premier League rules early next year. The hearing will begin next month and is expected to last 10 weeks. According to the Times , the independent commission that will hear the case had been expected to start hearing proceedings in November, but barring any further legal delays that is now expected to be mid-September, with the commission’s decision relayed in early 2025.
Among the alleged rule breaches are the club not providing accurate financial information for nine seasons, and not providing the full details of former title-winning manager Roberto Mancini’s pay between 2009 and 2013. Allegations over not providing full details over player remuneration for some top stars up to 2015 is also part of the charges.
