Resolute Mining has released an exploration update, increasing the resource at its Mako satellite Tomboronkoto deposit in Senegal and a maiden resource at Mansala in Guinea. The Tomboronkoto resource has increased by 30% from an initial estimate in January to over 343,000t at 1gpt cutoff, or 571,000oz at 0.5gpt cutoff. This was previously 264,000oz and 403,000oz.Infill drilling has increased confidence to 87% in the indicated category, and a further 7,000m of drilling is planned for 2024.
Brandberg West was previously owned and operated by Gold Fields until operations ceased in the 1980s.The Brandberg West project's initial drilling results are highly encouraging featuring significant high-grade intersections of tin, tungsten and copper, chief executive Anthony Viljoen said."These intersections, with grades of up to 4% for tin, over 2% for tungsten and typically 0.5-2% for copper, underscore the licence's commercial potential.
