Major supermarkets are urgently recalling Christmas dinner favourites ahead of the big day over fears they could pose a danger to customers.
This means shoppers may have wrongly assumed they could save the red cabbage product for Christmas Day. Cooked beef slices are another product that was worryingly given a use by date of 24 JAN - but in reality this should have said 24 DEC.Products recalled:Dunnes A number of cheeses have been recalled by Dunnes in Ireland due to the presence of potentially dangerous bacteria which could cause vomiting and diarrhoea.The Food Standards Authority highlighted the 'possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes'.
Some of the products listed may have been bought with the festivities in mind such as the store's Irish Brie Cheese and Cranberry Quiche
