Police were called to the church on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to St Andrew's Cathedral on Dunlop Street just before the daily mass was due to take place at 1pm following reports of the incident. A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police were called around 12.50pm on Tuesday 21 December to reports of a disturbance inside a Church in Dunlop Street, Glasgow.
