A 34-year-old man was arrested after leading police on a dangerous pursuit in Chester. He was previously guilty of dangerous driving, drug driving, and other offenses.
A 34-year-old man from Market Drayton, Chester , was arrested in March 2022 for leading police on a dangerous chase and attempting to abandon his vehicle. He had previously admitted to dangerous driving , drug driving , driving without insurance, and driving without a valid license. On March 4, 2022, a marked police vehicle attempted to pull over a silver Vauxhall Astra on the A41 in Rowton.
The driver initially indicated to stop but then accelerated away, driving on the wrong side of the road, mounting a kerb, and running through red traffic lights. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Hoole, and the man was identified and arrested. The man had been driving over three times the legal cannabis limit. Police emphasized that such behavior is not tolerated, and the individual was brought to justice quickly
