Belfast Boy's family urge United to bolster their Bestie collection
George Best’s family has spurred Manchester United’s official museum to issue a fans’ appeal to bolster its Bestie collection.
The club’s museum has since issued requests for donations from supporters of the legendary player and father-of-one who passed away in 2005 aged 59. “We often operate loans on a one, three, or five-year basis. But we are more than happy to work this out with each individual for a length of time that suits.”
