Martin Roberts has shared the chilling moment a Homes Under The Hammer crew member thought they had found a dead body during a house filming. The veteran presenter, who has been the face of the hit BBC property auction series since 2003, has amassed a trove of memorable experiences from touring countless properties for the programme - but this one understandably stands out.
He continued, "And she came out absolutely ashen in the face. And she said, 'There is a dead body! There's a dead body in the bed'." However all was not quite as it first seemed, he explained during a recent interview, and the man in the bed was still very much alive, although the story of what had happened was somewhat heartbreaking.
Fortunately the production team and former I'm A Celebrity contestant, who suffered a life-threatening health scare in 2022, were able to reunite the man with this family, who were still living close by.
