Mercedes-AMG's new flagship, the GT 63 S E Performance, goes 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds, the fastest sprint ever for an AMG series model.
The E Performance hybrid drive system boasts an electric motor on the rear axle and a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine up front.From zero to 60 miles per hour in just 2.7 seconds, no Mercedes AMG series model has ever sprinted that fast.

The electric motor directly powers the rear axle, enhancing propulsion during acceleration, starting from a standstill or overtaking. In cases of rear wheel slip, the electric motor distributes power to the front wheels for added traction. This coolant has double to triple the heat capacity of water, ensuring efficient thermal energy storage. According to the firm, AMG’s thin 0.04-inch cooling shafts, matching cell height, enable direct cooling.-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s hybrid race car tech, the battery delivers high power repeatedly, enhancing the AMG GT Coupe’s overall performance. The firm claims that with rapid energy draw and high power density, it boasts a 6.1 kWh capacity, sustaining 94 hp continuously and peaking at 201 hp.
