Liverpool is set to bask in 26C heat
The Met Office has said it's about to become 'increasingly warm' with a mini heatwave forecast for Liverpool and beyond. Weather experts said Sunday 'looks to be the best day of the weekend, with a fine and dry day for many', with highs of 26C predicted for the city. Met Office deputy chief meteorologist David Hayter said: “The jet stream will weaken to the west of the UK generating an area of high pressure that will slowly move in across the UK.
Wednesday, July 31, will then turn a little warmer, with expected highs of 25C, and Thursday and Friday are expected to be around 22-23C at their warmest points, with largely dry and sunny conditions, though again with some cloud too. However, Saturday August 3, will see the temperature dip slightly, and with a 40% chance of rain.
