Social media posts about a missing dog in Shaker Heights went viral over the weekend.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -
Les Wagenheim tells 19 News his dog Carrie has been an integral part of his life for the last year and a half. Carrie was playing in Wagenheim’s backyard on Sunday when she had some separation anxiety and went in search of her human, “Carrie got frustrated because she wanted to be with us.” The Shaker Heights man couldn’t have been more relieved because the caller said she would be right over to bring over his dog that she picked up as it walked near Van Aken Boulevard. But Wagenheim said after waiting more than an hour he called police, “She had that caller ID blocked and I was totally distraught, I didn’t sleep the whole night.”
