) - The Mobile Chamber has partnered with Innovate Alabama for a third year in a row, giving college students the opportunity to work in the “real world” before actually taking that step.
This year, the Mobile Chamber has helped 85 students get experience in the work force, including Amya Miller, who is just one of 13 interns through the program at Outokumpu, a stainless-steel plant. “It’s been impactful to create this programming so students can meet someone they never would’ve met, see a venue they never would’ve known and have a connection for them when they move here,” Huguley said.
