Montgomery Catholic kicks off the season with a brand new partnership. The school teamed up with us here at WSFA 12 News and will televise every game this year.) - We’re kicking off another season of Friday Night Football Fever , and this year, we have something new. Montgomery Catholic is teaming up with WSFA 12 News to broadcast every game live on TV. They started planning for this almost a year ago, and now it’s game day. The pressure to get ready is intense.
“Our team is very excited, very nervous, to be honest,” said Montgomery Catholic President and play-by-play announcer Justin Castanza. “As you guys know, behind the camera, there’s a lot more going on than just showing up and talking.”“We’ve been doing radio for 8 years and have gotten better as the years progressed,” said Castanza.“It’s taken about six months and $30,000 worth of equipment,” said Castanza.
