The Upper Bann MP said: 'As another day breaks, a local family continues to stand on the banks of the River Bann, waiting for news about their loved one, Andrew Robinson, who has been missing since Saturday. Their worry is constant, and they need the support and prayers of our whole community. 'Yesterday I stood with Andrew’s family at the riverside. It is heartbreaking to see what they are going through and deeply humbling to witness their quiet strength as each day passes. 'I have been genuinely taken back by how reliant we are on community volunteers in a crisis like this. These are people who give their time freely, carry specialist training and equipment, and depend on the generosity and support of the public to keep this vital work going. Groups such as Lough Neagh Rescue, Sky Watch NI, SARDA Ireland North, Belfast Coastguard, Community Rescue Service Central, and the Coastguard helicopter based at Prestwick, along with the K9 teams, are made up of volunteers who step forward without hesitation when they are needed most. It is their dedication and selflessness that keeps operations like this going. 'Thanks also goes a number of very dedicated PSNI officers and the many people in the local community who have been out walking the area and offering support. Your presence and efforts mean so much to Andrew’s family. 'Please continue to stay alert if you are near the river, and keep Andrew and his family in your thoughts and prayers.'
