Brianna Ghey's best friend, Emily, said she had concerns about her and who she was speaking to
The best friend of a murdered teenager said she was “speaking to thousands” of strangers online. Brianna Ghey , from Warrington , was just 16 when she was lured to Culcheth Linear Park by Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe. The Birchwood Community High School student was caught off guard and suffered 28 stab wounds on February 11 last year. Her body was left to be found in the park by locals walking their dog.
She would be recording TikToks all the time, you’d look out the window, and she would be there recording them.“ Emily went on to reveal how Brianna, who had a social media following, was speaking to strangers online. Esther said she was always worried about this because of Brianna’s secretive nature. She added: “She was always messaging someone. I remember asking her who she was messaging and joked that I didn’t realise she had so many friends, but she said she didn’t know who she was messaging.
