A star-studded concert, FireAid, took place in Inglewood, Los Angeles, to support victims of the devastating wildfires that ravaged the city earlier this month. The event featured performances by Billie Eilish, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dr. Dre, Joni Mitchell, Dawes, Pink, Rod Stewart, John Mayer, and many more. Proceeds from the concert will go to aid those affected by the fires, who have lost homes, businesses, and loved ones.

Billie Eilish and Green Day kicked off FireAid, a concert benefitting victims of the devastating fires which afflicted Los Angeles earlier this month. Numerous blazes broke out across the region at the start of the month, tearing through thousands of acres and destroying businesses and the homes of longtime residents and celebrities alike. The death toll of the fires has now reached 29. While the fires are largely contained now, the road to recovery for many is only now just beginning.

The world of music has now come together to lift spirits and raise money for those impacted with a night of songs. Eilish and Green Day are just two of the big names scheduled to perform this evening, with Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder among the other megastars. \Green Day started off the show with Eilish for a rendition of Last Night On Earth before they continued on without her for Still Breathing and When I Come Around. Billy Crystal then appeared on stage to recall the harrowing tale of losing his home in the Palisades fire, fleeing the home with the clothes he was wearing on stage, and his emotional return to his burnt down property. Alanis Morrissette than hit the stage, starting off with Hand In My Pocket followed by Thank You. The next performer was Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, who started off their set with Put Me Thru followed by Come Down. They brought up surprise performer, Dr. Dre, for Still D.R.E. and California Love. Music legend Joni Mitchell was the next performer, beginning her set with Both Sides Now. The next band Dawes were introduced by a family who lost their homes in the fires, and they kicked off their set with Time Spent in Los Angeles. The musical group has deep ties to the tragedy - the band's drummer, Griffin Goldsmith, lost his home in the Eaton fire. The home belonging to his brother, Dawes singer Taylor Goldsmith, was also partially burned down in the fire. Goldsmith shares the home with wife Mandy Moore and their children. The band wowed fans with their classic songs. Pink then hit the stage with a powerful performance of What About Us? and classic tracks Me and Bobby McGee and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You. Samuel L. Jackson then made an appearance, giving a shout-out to the first responders present as he introduced the crowd to a firefighter who lost his home in the blaze. The actor also introduced viewers to the next musical guest, Rod Stewart, who performed Forever Young and Maggie May. John Mayer then kicked off his set with Neon followed by Gravity and the Tom Petty song Free Fallin. Quinta Brunson of Abbott Elementary then introduced a math teacher whose home was destroyed in the Eaton blaze. She recovered a dish in the rubble that managed to survive the flames that read, 'I think I'll just be happy today.' \Eilish and Gaga are among the many musicians performing at tonight's concert, which is being held at two venues - the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in LA's Inglewood neighborhood. Proceeds will go to the victims of the unprecedented wildfires that blazed through the city in the first weeks of the New Year. On top of Eilish and Gaga, the billing boasts the biggest names in music. Anderson Paak. delighted the crowd with his dance-worthy music. In addition to Dr. Dre, .Paak performed with Sheila E
