THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said the estimated damage to infrastructure and agriculture due to Severe Tropical Storm 'Paeng' is now at P5.6 billion.In its latest situation report, the NDRRMC said damage to infrastructure is at P2,913,010,844.5.This covers 391 damaged structures across the country, that include roads; bridges; flood control; government, health and utility service facilities; and schools.
94 hectares of crops, affecting 72,809 farmers and fisherfolks.An estimated P97,202,045.72 worth of livestock, poultry and fisheries was also affected.Meanwhile, 25,109 houses were damaged - 22,587 partially and 2,622 totally.The NDRRMC also said the number of reported deaths is now at 154, with 128 injured and 35 missing.
