Let him go and see what happens. It sounds like he has got a lot on his plate and needs time to sort it before he can commit to anything. If he is serious, he will be back. If not, then plenty more fish in the sea.
honestly, I don’t think he’s 100% in this, he’s clearly got a lot going on with trying to sort out custody agreements etc, which I know can be extremely stressful, his mind will naturally be focused on this right now. your not unreasonable to want to feel wanted! He should just be honest with you instead of keeping you at arms length and keeping you guessing. Take a step back, don’t do the chasing! If it was me & he didn’t text me I just simply wouldn’t text him, if you mean something to him and if he loves you he will put in the effort! You don’t deserve to be left hanging on a thread for this man, your worth so much more!If say leave him to it and get on with your life. Your dealing with all of this and the relationship is new. You have to set the tone for how you want to be treated. It’s sounds like your into it more than him. So protect your heart. Do not ignore the signs because your thinking with your heart and not your head.From what you’re saying it sounds like he is distracted by having loads on it that he’s really wanting to cool it. i can sympathise with him if he’s trying to sort another relationship issue out and he might not be coping with it well. i had this exact situation 4 years back where I was with a girl I was smitten with and we’d been together nearly 2 years. Had an amazing time together. i was going through a divorce and where the financial side became difficult and a bit confrontational. I’d changed careers and was struggling with that and my income was twice my outings what with rent and mortgage. To top that I was given notice my contract was not going to be renewed and I had no fight left. The girl wanted to support me so much but I felt I just had to walk away from her because I was a bit of a failure etc. It wasn’t that I didn’t love her - I just couldn’t do a relationship and she’d be better off with me, so I ended it. I knew I Was making a big mistake but it’s how I coped at the time. I think I wanted to be on my own.I’ve been single ever since so maybe it was the right decision.us blokes are pretty rubbish with dealing with emotions.
