The restaurant will remain open during the transition.

co-owner Emily Nelsen said a former employee, Andy Barket, is under contract to buy the restaurant at 4745 N. Front St. in Susquehanna Township.

Eventually, the Nelsens want to relocate with their daughter to Virginia to be closer to their two grown sons. Nelsen said Barket, who has worked a variety of roles at reputable restaurants throughout the area, started his restaurant career working in the kitchen at the Glass Lounge at the age of 16. His mother had also worked at the Glass Lounge as a server, she said.

Approval of the liquor license transition by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is the final step toward the sale, Nelsen said, adding the approval process could take between four and six months.
