ACT police have charged a 15 and a 16-year-old boy after the incident which they allege took place in the early hours of Sunday morning. They are still searching for two others they suspect were involved.

ACT Policing have charged two teenage boys after an alleged stabbing and e-scooter assault in Canberra 's city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 15 and 16-year-old boys are expected to face the ACT Childrens Court this morning, while police say they are continuing to search for two other boys they suspect were involved. It's alleged the boys were part of a group of four who were gathered at the intersection of Cooyong and Batman Streets in Civic about 3am yesterday.They allege one of the boys rode an e-scooter into the victim, before the group allegedly grabbed him and began punching him in the head.They say the group then took off on foot, before police and emergency services arrived a short time later.

A 16-year-old boy, who was subject to bail conditions at the time of the incident, has been charged with joint commission recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm.
