Since first appearing on our screens in 2013, Gogglebox has become a treasure trove of memorable characters. The likes of Sophie Sandiford and her brother Pete, not to mention the delightful Malone family and their lovable dogs, have brought humour and warmth into our living rooms, courtesy of Channel 4's hit show.
Yet, fans were given a glimpse of the couple's more youthful days through a throwback photo from the '90s, shared on their Instagram back in 2021, which left them practically unrecognisable. As reported by OK! magazine, Giles appears wearing a navy polo shirt with a striped hat, casually holding a wine glass, while Mary sports a chic black and white heart-print blouse paired with a sun hat, reports the Mirror.
The iconic Gogglebox duo, Giles and Mary, met at the tender age of 21, with Giles studying at Wimbledon Art School and Mary making waves as a model. Today, Giles is celebrated as an artist, while Mary has built a notable career in journalism.
