Senate Opposition Leader Simon Birmingham says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese should be taking the Russian diplomat squatting in Canberra seriously as it does relate to national security.

“This man is acting in breach of laws that were put through as emergency laws through the Australian parliament to ensure that our national security could be
