Shortly after "Pulang Araw" released its first episode on Netflix, it instantly made waves on the streaming platform.As seen on Netflix, GMA Network's newest historical drama is on no. 1 of the "Top 10 TV Shows in the Philippines Today."It was followed by the Korean drama "Sweet Home Season 2" Starring Lee Do Hyun and "Eve" starring Seo Yea Ji."Pulang Araw" made its Netflix debut on Friday evening and became a trending topic on X.
The show traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina , Teresita , Hiroshi , and Eduardo before and during World War II.The main antagonist of the series is Col. Yuta Saitoh, played by Dennis Trillo. He is a Japanese imperial army officer whose mission is to conquer the Philippines."Pulang Araw" will have its television premiere on July 29.
