Coleen Rooney will remain in Cheshire with the couple's four sons while husband Wayne has taken on the role of manager at Plymouth Argyle in the hope it will 'help their marriage'.
Coleen Rooney has opted not to relocate from their family home in Cheshire, despite her husband Wayne taking up the head coach role at Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
Instead, she will remain at their £20m Cheshire mansion with their four sons, Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass. A source revealed to Closer that Coleen's choice to stay in north west England is aimed at strengthening their marriage. They added: "When either one of them is unhappy with the living arrangement, they bicker and their marriage suffers, so this is the best scenario for both of them."
Coleen Rooney has never hidden her dislike for the US capital, a sentiment evident in texts to Rebekah Vardy from 2018 that surfaced during their high-profile Wagatha Christie dispute. Coleen confessed that she "never believed in homesickness" until relocating to Washington, where she "cried every night" pining for her family back in Britain.
