A café and three flats are also part of the plans

Residents in a Nottingham suburb have asked for "more variety" on their high street as plans have been submitted for a new nail bar. A planning application has been submitted to Nottingham City Council for a building located at 227-231 Main Street, in Bulwell.

But residents in the city suburb have called for more diversity on the high street, with three people agreeing that there are already enough nail shops open in the town. "We need a men's clothing shop. There's nothing for ladies either. The flats will be good because people need somewhere to live and some can't afford a mortgage on a house."

"I would just like to see something else. Another clothing shop or food store would be good I think. We need more variety."
