Racers in the Yukon 800 will present a high speed presence on the Yukon, Chena and Tanana Rivers on June 15 and June 16.
Racers will roar through three rivers at high speed this weekendFAIRBANKS, Alaska - Boaters beware! The Yukon 800 boat race is taking place this weekend which means there will be small boats shooting through the water at high speeds between Fairbanks and Galena .
For boaters that are out on these rivers during the weekend, look out for the low slung long boats as they race through the Chena, Tanana and Yukon rivers at speeds of about 70 miles per hour.
