Ronan Keating has fought back tears during his last day on Magic Radio Ronan Keating was overcome by emotion delivering a rendition of one of his hit songs during the last day on his radio show. The Irish performer, 47, announced last month he would be leaving Magic Radio after seven years at the helm of the Breakfast programme.
‘It’s been hard to get out of bed early, but you guys have been worth it. Thank you so much. I’ll be around and I’ll come back to say hi every now and then.’ He went on to thank his colleagues, adding he would ‘miss them all’. Ronan co-hosted the Breakfast show with Harriet Scott over the past seven years As he finished the show, colleagues from Magic Radio and its sister stations lined the corridors to applaud him as he left the building.
