This was, after all, at a time when no one could predict what would might happen next.
Needham, then a junior in high school visited Rutgers in March 2020. A week later, the world was figuring out how to deal with the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. That early adjustment in Needham’s college recruitment, ultimately, gave him a blueprint for how to handle the next biggest challenge in his Rutgers career — watching from the sideline.
