On Saturday, townspeople turned up in their numbers to Rutherglen's Main Street to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Landemer Day since its resumption.
The rain might have decided to attend Landemer Day this year but that didn’t stop Rutherglen residents turning out in droves to mark the 50th anniversary of the gala celebration.

“Thankfully the weather wasn’t as bad as a few years ago when we had to move everything indoors. Overall, the day was a huge success.
