Others criticised Widdicombe's humour: "#SaturdayKitchen Josh Widdicombe is about as funny as a visit to the dentist. Or stepping on a fresh dog turd." Lastly, a comment was made on Widdicombe's BBC earnings: "When he receives his BBC pay cheque for advertising his latest 'tour' for free, and then laughs all the way to the bank? ... #SaturdayKitchen".
