Emma Ramsay fell from the sixth floor of Hotel Vibra District in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Emma Ramsay, from Hamilton, was enjoying a holiday with pals in the party hotspot of San Antonio when she plunged from the sixth-floor of seafront four-star Hotel Vibra District at around 3am on Tuesday.Her parents are understood to have flown to the island in the wake of the tragedy.
Lorna Lawson, Headteacher at St John Ogilvie High School said: “We are shocked and saddened at the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our former Head Girl, Emma Ramsay. “This is terribly sad news, and our thoughts, prayers and profound sympathies go out to Emma’s family and friends.” A spokesman for the Spanish Civil Guard said: “I can confirm a 19-year-old British tourist has died following a fall at a hotel in San Antonio in Ibiza.”Colleagues of Emma's at her part-time job at Starbucks in Hamilton were too upset to talk.
