Harrison Armstrong was the youngest player involved at Salford and could enjoy a breakthrough year with the U21s after penning a new deal
Sean Dyche said he was pleased to provide significant experience to some of Everton ’s brightest talents at Salford City. A youthful Blues team finished the game on Saturday with a number of the club’s Under-21s involved. There was also a first glimpse at senior level of Harrison Armstrong, a highly-rated midfielder who could enjoy a breakthrough season in the academy under Paul Tait.
The teenager was called up to the squad due to first team injuries and took in the pitch before the Peninsula Stadium filled on Saturday. He was joined by James Tarkowski, not involved due to injury but who shepherded some of the younger talents before the game , as a group of academy players sized up the ground while it was still quiet.
