An exclusive look into the investigation to find Olivia Pratt Korbel's killer was broadcast on Merseyside Detectives
A secret meeting in Speke Retail Park was a breakthrough moment in cracking the case to find Olivia Pratt-Korbel's killer. Footage was shown on tonight's episode of Merseyside Detectives, a documentary that follows the force's investigation into the murders of Olivia and Ashley Dale. The second episode followed Detective Constable Steph Rimmer on the way to Speke Retail Park after she received intelligence that could help with the police's investigation.
He said he was in the house for a short time with the shooter and asked to drop him off in Aspes Road. He wanted us to go and find all the evidence and get the CCTV. I asked 'what if we don't get the evidence? Would you be willing to come to court?' To be fair, he said he's petrified and his life would be in danger if he did that.' Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Baker led the investigation into Olivia's murder and said the moment was 'significant'.
